Alan F Busto

Alan F Busto was born on March 21, 1927, in Bronxville, New York to Mathilda L Busto, age 29, and Leo J Busto, age 32. He had a brother Ralph and one sister Harriet. In Rye his family lived at 13 Richard Place and were members of the Presbyterian Church.

Alan was a Rye High School Graduate, Class of 1945. He was a varsity football player and with his many activities was senior class president.

Alan graduated early in April of 1945 and enlisted and served as a Seaman 1st Class in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Discharge Records for Alan Busto. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal.

Enlistment Date 1: 2 May 1945, Release Date 1: 22 Aug 1946

After the war, Alan moved to California where he was a successful engineer and very involve with his church.

Alan F Busto died in Los Angeles on March 22, 1986, at the age of 59.
